    Science & Technology-
    Advantages:
    1. Advance in medical treatment

    2. The development of food crops that are pest and disease resistant

    3. The invention of bicycles , automobiles, ships, and aircraft for transportation

    4. The invention of the telephone, computer, radio and television for communication and dissemination of information

    5. Live more comfortably

    6. Develop new living areas

    Disadvantages:
    1. Environmental pollution
    2. Creation of deadly weapons
    3. Easy access of pornography from the internet

However, it also has its limitations, for an example,
-cannot find cures to all illnesses(e.g. aids)

    -prevent disasters from happening

-unable to solve all the problems of mankind, especially to those related to things that cannot really be measured/quantified

    How to separate these mixtures?

    1. Solid cannot dissolve in Liquids
    Method: Filtration
The insoluble solids particles cannot pass through the pores of the filter paper, thus trapped. This is known as the residue.
    2. Solids that can dissolve in Liquids
    Method: crystallisation
The mixture is first heated to evaporate most of the liquid to form a hot saturated solution. It is then left to cool.

    3. Miscible Liquids
    Method: Simple Distillation
They have different boiling points, the liquid with the lowest point vaporises and is collected first.

    4. Immiscible Liquids
    Method: Using a separating funnel
    They have different densities.

    5. Air and Petroleum
    Method: Fractional Distillation
They have different boiling points. Air is compressed into liquid state due to pressure.

    6. Iron in a mixture(magnetic & non-magnetic materials)
    Method: Magnetic attraction
Iron is a magnetic material, thus it can be attracted by the magnet.

    7. Sand in a mixture
    Method: Filtration
The insoluble solid particles cannot pass through the pores of the filter paper, thus trapped. This is known as the residue.

    Difference between petrol and petroleum?

Petroleum is unrefined, or crude, oil is found underground and under the sea floor. It is a a thick, flammable, yellow-to-black mixture of gaseous, liquid, and solid hydrocarbons that occurs naturally beneath the earth's surface.
Petrol (known in the US as gasoline), is a product of petroleum, produced by distilling and refining petroleum.

Why are they called noble gases?

Noble gas is translated from the German noun Edelgas, first used in 1898 by Hugo Erdmann[1] to indicate their extremely low level of reactivity.
    Thirsting For More?

They are also odourless, colourless and monatomic gases. Such include, helium (He), neon (Ne), argon (Ar), krypton (Kr), xenon (Xe), and the radioactive radon (Rn).

    How they build skyscrapers?
Like the roots of a tree, a skyscraper’s foundation is actually laid below ground in order to create the most stability.Next, digging out dirt and sand is required in order to get the bedrock.
Once the foundation has been laid, the skeleton frame is constructed by connecting steel columns and beams in a grid pattern. Sometimes, reinforced concrete is used as well, in order to protect the steel from extreme temperature changes. The skeleton frame is strong enough to hold up the entire weight of the building.
The façade, usually made from stone, brick, metal, or glass, is laid over the skeleton frame to create the exterior wall of the building. The façade hangs on the frame like a curtain, but does not support the building in any way. Workers often begin constructing the façade on the ground floor of the building while the upper floors of the skeleton frame are still being erected.
As the façade rises, interior systems, such as electric wiring, telephone and internet cables, heating and cooling systems, and plumbing, are installed. After these systems are inspected, walls, floors, and ceilings are installed. In the final stages of construction, the interior of the building is painted and decorated.

How many times did Thomas Edison fail?

Well, according to my research, he actually failed 10,000 times.

Indeed, Edison’s example is a perfect illustration of how everlasting success is crafted. It is crafted by persistence and faith. Successful people believe in themselves and their dreams. They have unshakable persistence.

Let’s have a quick look at Edison’s attitude here. Read what he said: “I haven’t failed”.

Successful people don’t have the word ‘failure’ in their dictionary. It is only lessons. You too should remove this word from your vocabulary.

Let’s face it, you only fail when you quit!

    Structure of Benzene
Benzene is a flat molecule with 6 carbons bonded in a Planar ring

•Each carbon is covalently joined to two other carbons and one hydrogen. A total of three covalent bonds
•The remaining outer electron of each carbon is shared with the other carbons in the ring. The six electrons are delocalised around the ring system, giving stability
•All bond lengths are the same.
